The following demonstrations and attractions will happen at regular intervals throughout the weekend (unless otherwise stated). Specific session times will be advertised at the Show.
Guy McClean Horsemanship Demonstrations
You'll find Guy McLean in his horse yard north of the grandstand all weekend. Pop over for a chat if you can catch him between rides.
Tucked behind the Rural Youth Hall, next to the Pavilion. Bring the kids down to meet our menagerie of furry mates. From barnyard classics to the more exotic crowd - all waiting for a cuddle.
Local dairy cows will be machine milked throughout the day. Have a crack at hand milking with our model cow, and watch cream transform into proper butter.
Over both days, skilled working kelpies will demonstrate their talent for rounding up sheep It’s a captivating sight, watching human and animal work together in perfect harmony.
Always a favourite with the children, come and visit our friendly (but not so furry) reptilian friends at the reptile tent. You can pet a lizard, or even a snake—if you’re feeling brave enough
Watch traditional haymaking techniques come to life with vintage equipment. See how hay is cut, turned, and baled the old-fashioned way - proper farming before all the modern gear.
