The 139th Berry Show

Livestock, woodchop, the Pavilion, showjumping, the rodeo and fireworks, at the Berry Showground.
A country show, run by the community, for well over a century
For two days each January, farmers, growers, riders, cooks and makers bring their best to the Berry Showground to be judged. Cattle, goats and poultry fill the sheds, the Pavilion fills with produce and craft, and the Main Ring runs from showjumping in the morning to fireworks at night.
The Show is run by the volunteers of the Berry Show Society. Anyone can enter, and everyone is welcome to come and watch.

New for 2027. Knights in 30 kilograms of armour charge on horseback with 12-foot lances.

The Pavilion
The district’s best fruit, vegetables, flowers, cooking, preserves, art, photography and craft, all judged and on show under one roof. There’s a junior section too, so the next generation of growers and bakers can have a go.

Meet our cuddly friends behind the Rural Youth Hall, from cute farm animals to larger, more exotic furry faces.
Cow milking demos
Try your hand on our model cow, watch butter churned from fresh cream and see real farm life up close.
Working sheep dogs
Skilled working kelpies round up sheep, people and animals working in harmony.
Also on: the Reptile Show, Small Goats Small Acres, Fizzics Education, Little Big Rigs, Harley the Brahman, the Children’s Pet Show and Sideshow Alley. Demo times are posted around the showground on the day.
