New for 2027
Nigerian Dwarf and Pygmy goats
New for 2027, the Berry Show has a brand new goat section, replacing the former Angora classes with a program for Nigerian Dwarf and Pygmy goats. Judging starts at 9am on Friday with presentation and junior parader classes, followed by udder, doe, buck, wether and master classes for Australian Champions. Breeder and progeny groups are also judged, with championships building to the Best Nigerian Dwarf, Best Pygmy and Best Wether in Show awards.
Before you enter
Exhibitors entering an AGB Inc show must hold current AGB Inc membership at the close of entries. Every exhibit needs a National Goat Health Statement and a National Vendor Declaration, every goat must carry an eNLIS tag, and all animals must be free of external parasites. All animals must come from a CAE and JD whole-tested herd. The full conditions are in the schedule.
Visiting rather than showing? Saturday morning’s Small Goats, Small Acres demo at the Goat Shed introduces the Nigerian Dwarf. Demos
