An ABCRA-affiliated rodeo (30% points), with junior steer rides for 8–under 11 (poddy ride) and 11–under 14, a juvenile bull ride for 14–under 18, novice bull ride, open steer ride and open bull ride. The open bull ride is Round 1 of the Shoalhaven Champion Open Bull Rider, sponsored by Gubbins Mitre 10 & Nowra Rodeo Association.
Before you ride
- Only entrants are allowed in the ring. Sign a waiver at the Show Office and collect a competitor’s wristband to get into the ring.
- All junior and novice bull and steer riders must wear a fully enclosed (cage-fronted) helmet and a vest.
- The Chief Steward and the Committee may refuse any entry and may alter events.
- All exhibitors and supporters pay gate entry.
