How to enter

Entry stickers and delivery

Every exhibit needs an entry sticker when it’s dropped off. Collect your sticker from the Rural Youth Hall and attach it at the tables there before taking your exhibit to the Pavilion. No article is accepted without one.

  • Hard articles: sticker on the front, bottom left.
  • Photography: sticker on the front, your name on the back.
  • Soft articles: pin the sticker to the front, bottom left.

Judges look for nicely presented work that’s clean, within the size limits and follows the rules for that class. Hints for exhibiting are at the top of each section’s schedule, and there are more tips for fruit and vegetables on our growing & presentation tips page.

Conditions of entry

  • There are no entry fees in the Pavilion classes.
  • All exhibits must have been completed in the past 24 months and be the exhibitor’s own work.
  • Pavilion exhibits are judged before the Show starts.
  • Exhibitors take part at their own risk.
  • The Show Committee reserves the right to reject any entry. The judge’s decision is final. The Committee’s decision is final in any dispute not covered by a specific rule.
  • The Show Committee accepts no responsibility for loss or damage. Delivery, collection and transport are the exhibitor’s responsibility.
  • Only recognised assistance dogs are allowed in Show buildings.
  • All exhibitors and supporters pay gate entry and wear the entry wristband at the Show.
