The 2024 Berry Show

Alongside the traditional show competitions and sideshow alley we have a smorgesbord of entertainment throughout the weekend. From the rodeo and musical talent on Friday to Beaut Utes, Walter Whip and death defying stunts of Airtime FMX Bikes on the Saturday, there really is something to entertain the entire family. The events - as always - will be nicely rounded off with our spectacular grand firework display thanks to Mr Boom Boom.

Judged Events at the Show

Poultry

Highlighting rare and unique poultry breeds, a diverse array of poultry breeds, including waterfowl and backyard birds

Angora Goats

Goats (exclusively Angora goats presently) have been an integral part of the Berry Show since 1980

Beef & Dairy Cattle

Berry Show is widely regarded as hosting a high quality exhibition of all 6 main European and British dairy breeds

Horse Classes

Berry Show always attracts a large number of horse exhibits over the two full days

Woodchop

A classic Australian event - this year we again host the Australian men’s standing block Championship and for the first time host the NSW women’s underhand chop

Pavilion

If it can be grown or made you'll find an entry in one of the myriad sections in the Pavilion for it. From fruit, vegetables and produce, plants and flowers to cooking, crafts and art.

Wow! Reptile Encounters

Come and visit our friendly (but not so furry) reptilian friends at the reptile tent

Animal Nursery

From the cutest little ducklings and their antics on the slippery dip to piglets, rabbits and guinea pigs, goats, calves, llamas and more

Ron McKinnon's Bullock Team

One of the last 'bullockies' in Australia - Ron and his team of up to 14 bullocks will be at the show to delight and educate

Marlie Draught Horse Team

Come see Marlie Stud’s Draught horse team pull a wool wagon as they would have once done many years ago

Airtime FMX Bike Show

Death defying Freestyle Moto x Entertainment assured to leave crowds on the edge of their seats

Sideshow Alley

Adrenaline-pumping rides, tasty treats and a bit of the old-fashioned charm of the fair

Hawkesbury Working Dogs Demonstration

Fascinating glimpse into the world of sheep herding and the important role that working dogs play in the industry

An iconic Australian activity that requires skill, concentration and good hand-eye co-ordination

Fireworks

The spectacular grand firework finale brought to us by Mr Boom Boom Fireworks. Saturday evening from approximately 9.30pm

Young Farmer Challenge

Teams are tasked with completing a set of agriculture - related challenges that are not straight-forward!

Hay Stacking

Always a fun event to watch - three individuals to work together to construct a stack of hay bales as rapidly as possible

Children's Pet Show, The Anthony Bennett Memorial

The pet show is always a favourite with the local children

The Young Woman Competition is not a beauty pageant, its aim is to discover a young female ambassador for rural NSW
